NCA needs your current address so as to provide you with tools for your future success.  You’ll also need to let us know to send you the proper documentation that you need to get licensed and recognized for your NCA certification. Also, you might want to display proof of your hard-earned credential. Being NCA-certified is a testament to your personal commitment to excellence. Similarly proud of your achievement, we have a few things to help you display your certification.

Send Verification to the State

LICENSE VERIFICATION TO STATE
There are currently 11 states with laboratory personnel licensure (California, Hawaii, Florida, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Louisiana, Nevada, West Virginia, Montana, Georgia). Puerto Rico also has licensure. The components of the law vary state-to-state, but usually includes an annual licensing fee (some are bi-annual), a provision for continuing education, a minimum education and professional competency requirements. If a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) plans to locate in a state with licensure, that state should be contacted for specific information relative to that state's laboratory practice act.
For a complete listing of laboratory personnel licensure states, please visit the ASCLS website. To request that a Duplicate Score Report or a Letter of Verification be mailed to a particular state, please fill out the following form and submit it to NCA.
