Clinical Laboratory Supervisor
To be eligible for the CLSup Examination, applicants must:
ROUTE 1
Be certified by NCA as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist Categorical, Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Cytogenetics, or Certified Laboratory Specialist in Molecular Biology, OR hold the equivalent certification or license from an agency recognized by NCA,
AND
Complete the equivalent of four years of full-time clinical laboratory work experience within the last eight years.
ROUTE 2
Have a master’s or higher degree in health care management, business administration, health systems administration, clinical laboratory science or equivalent from an accredited college or university,
AND
Be certified by NCA as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist Categorical, Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Cytogenetics, or Certified Laboratory Specialist in Molecular Biology, OR hold the equivalent certification or license from an agency recognized by NCA,
AND
Complete the equivalent of two years of full-time clinical laboratory work experience within the last four years.
